Sue Morrison, RP
With years of experience in the mental health field, I specialize in trauma-focused therapy, helping individuals navigate the complex emotional terrain of post-traumatic stress. I understand that trauma doesn’t just affect your past—it can continue to shape your present and future, impacting your mental health, relationships, and overall well-being.
My approach integrates evidence-based therapies like CBT and EMDR, both of which are effective in helping individuals process trauma and shift negative thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, and addiction.

Maria Yarde
Director of Operations & Client Care
As White Brick Therapy’s Director of Operations & Client Care, I am the first point of contact for clients beginning their therapy journey. I provide a safe, compassionate, and supportive space where individuals can share what they are going through and feel genuinely heard. During the initial intake process, I help clients explore their needs, preferences, and goals, and thoughtfully connect them with the therapist best suited to support them. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, uncertain where to begin, or unsure which therapist may be the right fit, I am here to help guide you through the process with care and empathy.

Sarah Rae, MSc, PhD (c)
In addition to my work with teens, I’m currently pursuing my PhD and working as an addiction counselor at an addiction treatment center. I also founded a tutoring company, which allows me to merge my love of learning, education, and mental health. My goal is to integrate these passions as I work toward my psychotherapy designation and continue to support clients in holistic, impactful ways.
If you or your teen is struggling with mental health challenges, I’m here to help navigate the path toward healing and success. Let’s work together to empower your journey.

I support the whole family, including siblings, in navigating care, schooling, and changing developmental and educational needs. I’m trained in VB-MAPP, PEAK, and ABLLS-R, and can guide you through the Ontario Autism Program (OAP), funding options, treatment choices, and what’s actually necessary (and what isn’t) so you don’t feel overwhelmed.
I’ve worked closely with York/Durham and Tri-County school boards and can assist with IEPs, rights, and advocacy to ensure your child is supported both at home and at school.
I understand ASD from the inside out, and my goal is to support your family in a way that honours mental health, family dynamics, and your child’s unique strengths and development.
CHILD BEHAVIOUR THERAPIST
DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
I’m a clinician and parent with 30+ years of experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), autism, and early intervention.
Alongside my formal training, I bring lived experience - my son is 18 and has ASD, ADHD, and an intellectual delay - so my approach is holistic, compassionate, and rooted in real life.
I’ve worked within the system, including at Kinark, and the Geneva centre for Autism and I know how challenging it can be to wait for services, feel stuck on lists, or worry your child is losing valuable time. You don’t have to wait anymore - the help is available now.

Julie Stevens, MA, RPq
I believe our emotional wellbeing changes across the lifespan, and that therapy can offer meaningful support during periods of overwhelm, transition, growth, and self-discovery. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in empathy, curiosity, and genuine connection.
Alongside my professional training, my work is shaped by lived experience as a parent of neurodiverse teens, previous work in gender equality and child protection, and more than a decade living in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the many ways people navigate identity, relationships, adversity, and change across cultures and life stages.
REGISTERED PSYCHOTHERAPIST (QUALIFYING)
I’m Julie, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
I support people navigating life’s more difficult and uncertain seasons; whether you’re a young person managing school stress or early adulthood, a parent overwhelmed by caregiving or adjusting to an empty nest, or someone trying to make sense of the emotional and physical shifts that can come with perimenopause and menopause.

Hi, I’m Lesley! As a neurodiversity-affirming, queer therapist. I support teens, adults, couples, and parents in building greater self-compassion, authenticity, and connection.
I work with teens, particularly those who are neurodivergent or identify as LGBTQIA+, as they figure out who they are, learn to navigate emotional intensity or anxiety, and develop skills to create the life they want to live.
I’m also passionate about supporting individuals and families through the perinatal period, including fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum anxiety, identity shifts, and relationship changes. I bring both specialized perinatal mental health training and lived experience as both a gestational and non-gestational parent to this work.

Hi. I’m Saxon.

This work is deeply meaningful to me. I feel a strong sense of purpose in sitting with people through their lives and growth, and I approach it with care, presence, and respect for the process.
